Setup-Time Reduction & Equipment Maintenance

This paper provides an outline of approaches to setup time reduction and equipment maintenance. It considers the benefits of setup reduction, setup reduction methods and techniques, maintaining and improving equipment, equipment effectiveness, preventive maintenance and total productive maintenance (TPM).
