NEW: Lean Recertification Requirements Modified — Launched Qtr2, 2011.
After careful consideration, the Lean Certification Oversight and Appeals committee has modified the recertification requirements for all levels of Lean Certification. (Please note that recertification candidates are no longer required to submit a recertification portfolio). Recertification at the Bronze, Silver or Gold Level requires the candidate to document a minimum of 60 recertification credits over their three year period.
- Sign into your SME Account. The Sign In link is in the upper right corner above.
- Click on your name when it appears in the upper right corner to access your SME Profile page
- Click on the “My Certifications” button on the left to be taken to your new “transcript” page
- At the bottom of the page, click on the “add transcript” to add credits for recertification
A reflection can be submitted for recertification credits under the Authorship/Ownership category.

Recertification for Bronze, Silver and Gold is now on-line to allow you to add your Lean Professional Development as you progress. The Lean Certification Oversight and Appeals committee have identified types of activities that qualify as recertification credits. The activities fall into the following elements:
